Professional roles
- Doctoral researcher, SnT, University of Luxembourg - - present. Semantic relational SLAM and situational-awareness architectures for UAVs; ROS 2, PX4, OpenVINS, embedded Linux, flight testing.
- AOCS/GNC engineer intern, Airbus Defence and Space, Stevenage - - . Led LiDAR test activities on iBB3 and iBB4 for a Sample Fetch Rover concept demonstration; networked ROS bench; offline C/C++ GNC with synthetic data.
Project leadership and volunteering
- Competitions Management Co-Lead (previously rover competition volunteer), UKSEDS - - . Four competitions: ORT, SDC, ISAM, NRC.
- AOCS/ADCS lead, JamSail 3U CubeSat, NottSpace - - . Developed NBodySimulator to test ADCS, EKF sensor fusion, my IGRF implementation and a sun-sensing algorithm; studied but rejected TRIAD due to noise sensitivity.
- Systems engineer, IDET-Sat CubeSat, Nottingham Space Society - - . Requirements, architecture, interfaces, breakdown structures; Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers, IMU, cameras.
Selected projects
- Lunar simulator - ROS 2 rover autonomy stack with visual odometry and Kalman filtering.
- ArvSimulator - atmospheric six-degree-of-freedom trajectory simulation.
- N-Body Simulator - simulator developed to test JamSail ADCS, EKF sensor fusion and sun sensing.
